This week has been a wintertime weather roller coaster….wow!!! So, with this concrete snow that is on the farm our pigs that live outside now can walk over the fence, so we all have had the pleasure of meeting up with pigs exploring the farm. Because they have a warm shelter, water and lots of food in there fenced area they always head back home with out getting into to much trouble. This week we did a lot of cleaning and organizing getting ready for the start of our 14th CSA year. Always feels good to start with a “somewhat” fresh clean start. I recently called our tire people to order a set of tire for our orchard Tractor, just to find out they will take three mouths to get to the farm, yikes!!! We will most definitely need tires before three mouths. So…. lucky we have a great tire support team at Valley tire in Kentville that found us some very cheap in terms of money and quality to get us “by”…:) What to expect next week:
