TapRoot Farms CSA Membership Agreement
As a member of TapRoot Farms Community Shared Agriculture (CSA), I agree to:
- Pick up my CSA share at my selected location and within the posted time
- Keep my account in good standing
- Read weekly emails for important updates
- Communicate with the farm about any concerns, celebrations, or changes to my contact information
- Stay open-minded, ask questions, and give the farm the benefit of the doubt
- Try new foods, share ideas, and recognize that I am part of a community working toward a healthier, more vibrant local food system.
I understand that:
- If I do not pick up my share within the posted time, it will be donated unless I have made prior arrangements with Katelyn or arranged for someone else to pick it up.
- By signing up, I am committing to the season. If I need to stop my share, it is my responsibility to try to find someone to take over my commitment and notify the farm as soon as possible.
- If I sign up in error, and do not communicate this, I am responsible for the cost of delivered shares.
- Pick up locations may shift based on participation. If changes are needed, the farm will work to find a solution that meets everyone’s needs.
- An annual $40 administration fee (for website and CSA bookkeeping) is added to my invoice and is not included in the share price.
- I consent to receive weekly newsletters and other necessary email communication from the farm
- A list of items in my share will be posted on the website and emailed the Friday before delivery, and items may change based on harvest and availability.
- Payments can be made yearly, quarterly, or monthly, and must be completed before the first delivery of each period.
All members are welcome to visit the farm for self-guided walks at any time.
We look forward to a wonderful season of sharing food together. Thank you for being part of the TapRoot Farms community!
