Most of the vegetables are Certified Organic but we do include items from other local farmers to provide a balance in the offering. On the blog post each week we will let you know if an item is non-organic and the farmer. The Noggins Fruit Share is non-organic.
Each week we try to get 6-7 items in the veggie share and 3-4 items in the combo share (for the veggie half), with a mixture of greens and staple cooking items like potatoes, carrots, onions, etc. The fruit share comes from Noggins Corner Farm, in the summer you can expect strawberries, blueberries, plums, sweet cherries, peaches, pears, apples, and more. In the winter months you can expect apples, pears, dried apples, frozen fruit, dried products such as cranberries, value added product like jam or apple sauce, apple juice, sweet apple cider, sparkling juice, and more.
