Greens of Haligonia

We are a sprouting company serving Nova Scotia.

We provide sprouts to retailers and restaurants across Nova Scotia.

The Story

Greens of Haligonia started in November of 2012 when a couple of enthusiastic entrepreneurs set about to contribute to the local food movement in Halifax. They didn’t have land or capital but they did know how to sprout. Using the resources they had they launched Greens of Haligonia, our very own sprouting business in Nova Scotia. Since 2012 Greens of Haligonia has changed ownership a couple of times and is now owned and operated by TapRoot Farms in Port Williams.

Greens of Haligonia sprouts are certified organic, packaged in compostable packaging, and are jam packed with amazing nutrients.
