Good Evening CSA members,
I am just going over a few things here tonight and I thought I should let you know about the farmstay.
If you haven't seen it already on our webpage, TapRoot has a guest house that we offer for rent to anyone interested in a getaway.
Our dream is that we can share the farm with people interested, as a way to retreat and a way to connect with the land.
People come for weekends or weeks. The space is great for families because there is lots of sleeping space and eating space but it is very open concept. (one family comes each year - a mom with her adult children with spouses and their kids)
We also have groups of people come who are doing small workshops or others who are having a gal's reunion. It is also good for a couple wishing to just get away. We've hosted house concerts with Christina Martin and also Steve Poltz. We have also had a few retreats. I went on my own reading retreat for a few days last year.
We are looking to increase the amount of rentals we have during the year so if you have any ideas or suggestions or interest we'd be happy to make it happen.
The cost per night for two beds is $200.00.
The cost per week for two beds is $1250.00
The house is fully furnished, the kitchen is ready to go and the beds are all made.
For daily rentals for meetings/gatherings is $75.00.
The farm is close to local beaches, wineries, towns, hiking trails, and gelato at Fox Hill Cheese house.
We are also working on establishing some camp sites for those who wish to come camp on the farm. We hope to have them ready to go for the summer months. Let us know if you'd be interested in coming to camp on the farm. It will help to sort out what the demand is, should we create one or three camp site?
Thanks so much!
