TapRoot CSA - Friday check in

Hello from the farm on this rainy Friday,

You may have noticed our flyer in your share box this week. For those who are winter/spring members this is a reminder that summer/fall shares are open for sign up now. For full year members we would love it if you would share this with a friend, a family member, or bring it to your workplace.

The flip side has a new event to us this year: TapRoot Farm Days. TapRoot Farms Days is a four day farm fest. We are hoping that you will be able to come stay on the farm, either by renting Walden camp, or a camper, staying at the farm house, or bringing your tenting gear. We have scheduled events each day with lots of free time for exploring the area. It's very bike friendly, with fox hill cheese house next door and the Port Pub and the Noodle Guy just around the corner in Port Williams.

Available on add on's this week:

Fresh Fiddleheads - 1 lb - $5.50 (Just available for this coming week)

Organic Lettuce Mix - 227 g - $3.50

Organic Rhubarb - 1 lb - $3.25

Sunday, June 18th, 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Join us for our third field walk with Patricia and Josh of TapRoot farms. Join us as we wander through the fields, tunnels, greenhouses, and animals at 1736 Church Street. Come back throughout the year and see how much the farm changes, season to season.

Guided tour starts at 1:30 PM. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for walking through fields. We will walk rain or shine. Large wheeled stroller or backpacks are best. For our on farm food safety it's best to leave the four legged friends at home.

Tickets are now available for the THREE Jamaican Jerk Pig Roasts this summer.
