A note on Basil today

Hi again,

As it was wet this morning, the basil was harvested wet and there was not enough time to dry it before bagging.  Just a heads up that this will affect the length of time that this will keep for you if it is left in the bag.

If you want to keep it longer than a couple days, please remove it from the bag when you get it home and wrap loosely in a clean paper towel or kitchen towel to absorb the excess moisture.  Once it is dry it should be placed back inside a sealed bag.  Basil should not be kept in the fridge (it will turn black if it gets chilled).  It will keep best in a cool place away from sunlight.
